Standing up for Salmon Arm-Shuswap

Gloria Morgan is a member and former Chief of the Splatsin First Nation and a survivor of the Indian Residential School and Sixties Scoop systems.

She spent 11 years as an RCMP officer before becoming a lawyer. She was called to the bar in 1995, had a private practice, and worked as Duty Counsel, Circuit Counsel, Crown Counsel, and a Federal Adjudicator in the Indian Residential School Independent Assessment Process conducting residential school hearings.

Morgan has served on numerous regional and provincial boards in health, education, post-secondary education and justice, and remains active in her community.

Gloria Morgan, David Eby and the BC NDP have a plan to build BC strong: to create jobs, to strengthen healthcare, and to make life more affordable.
